GYLL is a free, gamified Progressive Web App for learning conversational Yorùbá. Instead of long reading passages, it teaches through short lessons, vocabulary drills, and listening exercises with native audio, organized into ten everyday-life units: Greetings, Family, Numbers, Food, Body, Home, Shopping, Travel, Work, and Conversation. The full course covers 128 vocabulary words and phrases across 60 lessons, mixing flashcards, multiple choice, listening comprehension, pronunciation practice, and image matching.

Alongside the language course, GYLL's Discover section introduces Yorùbá culture, proverbs, and heritage through 50 cultural cards — from everyday vocabulary to historical and cultural notes, each checked by a native Yorùbá speaker. The app installs like a native app on phone or desktop and keeps working offline once opened, with no account required to start learning.
